New commercial driver license drivers who wish to obtain a passenger, school bus or hazardous materials endorsement must complete the ELDT and ELDT Class A or B endorsement courses.

This course is mandatory to complete before you can take your CDL Skills Test for a Class A License. It is recommended that you complete this program before taking your Skills Test as the course covers many of the topics you will be tested on.

The California 2022 general knowledge license exam is the basis for the entire process and therefore consists of 50 questions, with a requirement of 80% correct answers for final approval.
